December SBS Fanpage Challenge

Back again with my entry for the December Simply Betty Stamps Fanpage challenge.   I chose to use all three images, Betty Boom, Holly Corinne, Angel Elisabete on a 2-page scrapbook layout.  I wanted to have it all flow together so I chose the title "Naughty or Nice" and have Betty and Corinne on the Naughty side of the pages as they seem to be being a bit naughty.  I have used the Black, white and red color combos for Betty with glitter on her poinsettia and on the sparks of her dynamite and she also has glitter eyeshadow.  For Corinne I added a cricut cut from Winter Wonderland of a Holly and also added the matting for one of the photos with holly paper. Oh and if you look closely you'll see some coal at the bottom with both Betty and Corinne.  I just couldn't resist.  This was another cut from cricut cartridge My World.   On Elisabete's side is the "Nice" side and I added snowflakes from the Martha Stewart snowflake punch and I also cut out a snowflake from my Cricut and added a halo hanging from one of the sides of the snowflake.  I also added some wings to Elisabete that have snowflake images imprinted on them.  I thought they were just perfect for this image.

Another SBS Fan page Challenge

Here is my entry into the Simply Betty Stamps fan page challenge for October.  This is Fortune Teller Betty.  Her crystal ball has been covered in diamond glaze and holographic iridescent Viva décor pen to give it some shine.  Her earrings also have iridescent Viva décor pen on the little pearls.  I used DCWV paper for the tag and added some tarot cards and a tarot circle for the background.  I colored her with my Spectrum Noir Pens.  By the way, you can get Fortune Teller Betty here http://simplybstamps.net/item_2421/Fortune-Teller-Betty-Digi.htm

SBS Fanpage Challenge

Here is my Voodoo Corinne entry for the Challenge on the Simply Betty Stamps fanpage.  I colored her with my Spectrum Noir pens.  I used Halloween papers from my stash for the cardbase and background papers.  I also used a voodoo doll digi as Corinne's "Voodoo Doll Rug" which she is walking on.  She also has her shopping list ready.  No girl should be without her voodoo shopping list.  Can't have enough pins or dolls, right!!??  LOL  I also pop dotted the voodoo doll rug and Voodoo Corinne. You can purchase her here http://simplybstamps.net/item_2420/Voodoo-Corinne-Digi.htm

Trick or Treat Cat

This was a freebie from Gerda Steiner to use in her monthly challenge.  I decided to make a Halloween decoration with him.  He is quite the scary little kitty, isn't he?  I cut the Candy corn out with my cricut from the Monster Bash cartridge.  I colored the image with my spectrum noir markers and also cut the spider web, spider and the crow out of my cricut from the Teresa Collins Halloween cartridge.  I would like to enter this into Gerda's challenge for October.  If you would like to join in the fun, then you can go here to www.gerdasteinerdesigns.com

Gerda Steiner Designs

Well, here is my final project as guest designer for the month of September for Gerda Steiner Designs.  I had such a blast with these images.  Thank you Gerda for having me!!  Visit Gerda on her website here http://gerdasteinerdesigns.com/stores.  She has lots of cute images.  And now for my project.  I have used Cute Halloween Witch Flying on Her Broom.   I chose to make a scrapbook page and added flowers and embellies and buttons and tags.  I had such a fun time with her.  I decided since the moon was glowing that she had to have that "glow" appear on her and the rest of her image.  I colored her up with my Spectrum Noir markers.

It's Challenge time over at Simply Betty Stamps.  This is my entry for the challenge this month and her name is Franken Betty and if you would like one of your own, you can find her here http://simplybstamps.net/item_2372/FrankenBetty-Digi.htm.  I decided to make a goodie bag.  I cut it from the new Monster Bash cartridge from Cricut.  I chose the spider web, since the web wraps around.  I wrapped it with Boo!  Spooky!  ribbon that I purchased at Michael's last Halloween and I added a cute little embellie I got from my Swap partner!  Love this!!

Just here to say Hi!!

Here is my newest project as guest designer for Gerdasteinerdesigns.com.  He is a cute little hippo who just wants to say "HI".  I had a blast coloring him up and putting together this fun little card.  I like the final project cause it can be used as a child's card or an adult's card and for any occasion.  Take a trip over to www.Gerdasteinerdesigns.com and have a look and you will fall in love with her adorable designs just as I have!!!  Thank you again Gerda for the honor of guest designing for the month of September!!

I did some faux stitching along the outside edges to give it some depth and I colored the hippo image with my Spectrum Noir markers.  The flower is by Prima Marketing and I put the layers together with some stamen and then I sprayed it with some liquid adhesive and sprinkled some "snow" glitter to give it some sparkle.  I cut out the "sun" shape with my cricut and the heart and the background for the hippo and the sentiment are all spellbinders dies.  The butterfly ribbon across the bottom I received from a ribbon, fiber and twine swap I was in and it just went so perfectly with this card.  Thanks for looking!!

Mercedes the Witch

Here is my entry for the monthly facebook challenge at Simply Betty Stamps.  You can find it here http://www.simplybettystamps.blogspot.com/p/halloween-colors-and-anything-goes.html.  Our challenge was to use Mercedes on a project.  Well, I decided I wanted to make a decoration as you can never have too many decorations now can you?   I used my cricut to cut out the Spooky sign, the cloud with lightning bolts and the castle.  I doubled up on the chipboard so it would be sturdy.  I then covered it with a couple of different core papers and sanded them to give them an aged look.  I used a punch for the cats added some tulle and a flower.  Oh and I used some black Tim Holtz tinsel for my hanger.  I had an awesome time coloring her.  She is colored with Spectrum Noir markers.  The Spooky sign and the cats I filled in with Martha Stewart glow in the dark glitter, so they glow at night!!!   Woooooooooooooooooooooo!

Hello Friend!!!

Here is the 2nd image with my time as Guest designer for www.Gerdasteinderdesigns.com.  I just love the cuteness of her.  She is titled "Hello Friend".  I think anyone would love to receive her.  I colored her with my spectrum noir markers.  I added some flowers and leaves from Prima Marketing.  I used some memory thread for spirals. The center of the flowers are glitter brads that are actually Easter brads but they went so well with them, I decided to use them.   I cut the image out with the Spellbinders die titled Leafy Leafs.  I just love this die.  I then inked the edges with Rain Drops liquid ink.  I added a bric-a-brac ribbon and used the heart banner die from La La Land crafts.  Another of my favorite dies and of course I inked the edges and cut it twice to give it some depth and pop dotted it.  I also placed a lacey doily behind the image and some light green tulle under the flowers to give it some color and some pop.  I hope you like this as much as I do.  Take a few minutes and go on over to Gerda's site and check out her adorable images.  You will fall in love with them too!!!

Saturday, September 7, 2013

I am pleased to be chosen to be a guest designer for www.GerdaSteinerdesigns.com for the month of September.  Here is my first project.  He is called "Wanna Bite".  I just love Halloween and I thought he was so adorable.  I used my Spectrum Noir markers to color the image and I used a spellbinders circle die to cut the image and the black circle behind him.  I added a ribbon from my stash and of course, what is a vampire without his bats and the moon?  So, from my stash, I added some bats, stars and a moon that are glittered. I wanted to keep it simple because the star of the project is the image.   I can't wait to show you more.  You must visit Gerda's website and check out all of her wonderful images.  They are adorable!!!   Thank you Gerda for letting me showcase some of your images.  I will be posting the rest as I finish them.  They all will have special treatment from me and care taken in choosing all the papers and embellies.

The Vulture Knockouts Vs. The Skullhead Babes

We are having a roller skating battle between Simply Betty Stamps--The Skullhead Babes and TSC recipes --Tamara Van Wiik--The Vulture Knockouts.  I chose to use The Skullhead Babe.  I decided to make a scrapbook page for when my granddaughter Viv begins roller skating with the roller skates I have bought her.  I just love the way she has turned out.  What do you think?  I used Spectrum Noir markers, paper from my stash, bottle cap from a kit I bought from Rio!!  Thanks Rio!!  Some pink mesh ribbon and the skull ribbon is from a swap buddy Lisa Nelson.  It was perfect for this project.  Thanks Lisa!!  I also added some cuts from my cricut Nifty Fifties which of course are the roller skating cuts.
