It is the final day of the Simply Betty Birthday Challenges and I am entering this into the favorite Techniques Challenge.  I love to emboss with my Cuttlebug and inking.  I used both of these techniques on this card and used  Space Girl Lola from Simply Betty stamps.  I love the way she looks as she reminds me of the Jetsons.  I hope you like what I've done with this.  I had a blast creating it!

Here is my entry for the Create a Movie challenge on Simply Betty Challenges.  I love Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, so I went with it!!  I used the Betty Fairest of them All image and colored her with my Spectrum Noir markers.  I decided to have her image looking back at her as if she was in the movie asking that time honored question, "Mirror, mirror on the wall, Who's the Fairest of them All?"  Could it be her or could it be you??  I used my photo editing to flip the image and make her smaller to fit into the "mirror".  Then of course I had to remember what color combos I used on the original and color her exactly like it.  Not an easy task since I never write down the colors I use.  LOL!!   I added a beautiful burgundy rose from Wild Orchid flowers.  I just love their flowers.  Anyway, I love how this turned out and I hope you do too.

Alright, I decided to make a play for the Simply Betty Challenge-----Smart @** challenge.  So, without further ado, here is my entry.  Sorry Corinne, I just couldn't resist.  :)  I used the Simply Betty Image...Christian the Dark Hero.  I also used for the background paper something I found at my LSS in the super hero section and thought that it fit the bill.  I colored the image with my Spectrum Noir markers.  I hope you like it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Here is Summer in all her glory!!!  I colored her with my Spectrum Noir markers and I went with a winter theme.  I just love the way she turned out!!  She is one of my favorite images and hope you like her too.  I used a Cuttlebug folder and chalked the snowflakes in a light blue for the background.  I also added a ribbon buckle and ribbon to her.   Please leave a comment.  I love to read them!!  Thanks for looking.  I am entering her into the current facebook fanpage challenge at SBS stamps.

I would like to enter this into the CASE my tag challenge at SBS Challenges.  We were to CASE a tag using an Simply Betty Stamps image.  I chose to use Ariel Bone image as I just loved her look!!  She is colored in Sepia tones with my Spectrum Noir markers.  I use a couple of different stamps for the background from a couple of different stamp lines which show the eerie eyes and the scary tree.  I also added a piece of Halloween cardstock and some Halloween colored trims for the ribbon.  Hope you like it!!  Thanks for looking..

I chose this Alice in Wonderland image because It has many of the Wonderland elements such as the rabbit and the chesire cat.  I love Alice in Wonderland.  I colored the image with my Spectrum Noir markers and use 2 of my favorite papers which are the buzz along and the happy birthday papers you see as the backgrounds.  I also added a clock embellie to the top left of the image and a melting clock on the bottom left.  I think it added to the fun of Alice.  I used my Martha Stewart Valentine border punch as my border for the outside of my card.  I really hope you like her and leave a comment as I like to hear from you!!!  I am entering this into Alicia Alva's favorite paper challenge.  Thanks for looking!!

Lilliana Fairy Challenge

I had such a fun time thinking out of the "Box" or in this case on the Box!!!  LOL!!  Anyway, here is my entry into the Simply Betty Stamps Lilliana Fairy Challenge.  We were given this image by a wonderful friend of mine, Betty, who is the owner/ operator of SBS.  We were challenged to use the colors Orange, Black, Yellow and White.  I've incorporated these colors into my image as well as the overall project.   This is just the lid of the jewelry box I am making for one of my granddaughters.  The rest will be revealed as time goes on and I've totally finished the sides of the box.  I used a white shimmer sheet behind my image to give her depth and texture and embossed it with a cuttlebug folder.  I colored my image in with my Spectrum Noir markers and I merged my Lilliana image with a MIC image, Cobblestone Path.  I decided that Lilliana was on her rock in shallow water, that is why I chose to color around the stones in blues.  I am very happy with the way this turned out.  I used leaf ribbons in the colors required for the challenge as well and used some Prima Flowers and some roses from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I added some cuts from my Cricut and a wooden butterfly as well as a white wire butterfly on my larger flowers.  I sprayed the smaller orange roses with Goosebumps to give them a little bit of a water shimmer.  I hope you all like it and will leave me some comments.
